The format of Mortgages & More is a live call-in show where listeners get all the answers to their real estate financing questions. Topics range from real estate mortgages, insurance, consumer finance and leasing, commercial lending and leasing as well as technological advances in the real estate industry. The primary focus of the radio show is to promote home ownership in an informative, educational and entertaining way.

The idea for the call-in show came from an appearance Chris made on The Home Show in January 1992 on WRC 980 AM. The response from listeners was overwhelming. Mortgages & More first aired in July of 1992 on WPGC 730 AM. When WPGC changed to WBZS and then WRC, Mortgages & More also switched. From quarter to quarter, listenership increased to the point where we appeal to a broader audience.

Popular guests to Mortgages & More have included professionals from the “inside” of mortgage banking such as underwriters, appraisers, credit investigators, title agents, real estate brokers, and secondary marketing personnel. Bringing in a variety of guests allows listeners to get differing and unbiased views of the mortgage process. Individuals are often confused when faced with financing a home. By broadcasting from remote locations, such as builder sites or real estate offices, Mortgages & More can more readily reach out to those individuals and answer their questions.

Providing financing solutions to individuals who want to own a home and are confused by the process, Chris has made reputation for himself as The Mortgage Guy. This reputation has allowed for cross promotion for Chris, the guests of the show, sponsors, and the radio stations he has aired on.
